My Biography

A major joy in my life has been exploring. I love the sense of discovery, be it whitewater rafting down the Colorado River or wandering through a new museum. I  love to create, be it throwing clay pottery or painting in watercolor.

I have always been intrigued by the interweaving of various forms of creative work. In my two new books, I have explored both writing and illustrating.

I have volunteered at a non-profit organization that provides, at no charge, highly trained assistance dogs to people with physical disabilities. The afterword in "A Very Patient Puppy" describes the assistance a service dog provides and the positive impact on the individual.

I hope children enjoy these books, and reading them brings both a giggle and a moment of reflection.
